Bristol Traditional Amber Urethane Finish
Bristol Finish Traditional Amber Urethane has the highest level of UV resistance that is possible to achieve in a transparent coating. The gloss retention is outstanding, and it will not become brittle, crack or peel. Its abrasion resistance is better than any other coating.

- Requires no sacrifice in appearance for the sake of performance, like many of the current “low maintenance” coating products.
- Is incredibly resistant to ultraviolet breakdown. Gloss retention is outstanding, and it will not become brittle and crack or peel. Designed to remain flexible, it withstands abrasion and impact damage better than anything else. Bristol Finish is not affected by gasoline, diesel fuel, teak cleaners, battery acid, and most common cleaning chemicals.
- Is a catalyzed acrylic urethane system, and each coat can be applied from 1 to 24 hours apart, without sanding between coats. Molecular cross-linking insures a perfect bond between coats. Just think – you can finish your project in only one or two days, instead of taking two to four weeks to get the job done.
- Will look good for one to two years without maintenance in southern latitudes such as Florida and the Caribbean, and up to four years in New England. When it’s time for maintenance, all that is needed is to lightly sand, apply a topcoat, and enjoy the results for a few more years!
